Mark takes to the National Theatre in St Kilda on Friday June 3RD a to premiere and record a new live solo album.
Fresh from supporting Ron Sexsmith and a US solo tour, this new work is inspired by a deep love and fear of the ocean. From the small Victorian coastal village he now calls home, to childhood summers perched above the St Kilda Esplanade visiting his Grandparents’ '80s high-rise apartment.
The performance features collaborations with acclaimed Melbourne visual artist Graeme Altmann and animation by Leigh Ryan. The iconic theatre will be transformed into an immersive experience featuring new and loved songs reimagined from Lang’s extensive catalogue.
Date: Friday 3 June
